To verify your credit card they perform a temporary charge and you enter the amount in their website. My temporary charge never dropped and I've been requesting it to be refunded for the last two months. The customer service is a broken record saying that it takes 10 business days to appear, but it never does. If you tell them you'll do a reversal they threaten you that your account will be closed because it's in their TOS that you're not allowed to. They're thieves. Stay away from them!

Entering that site is like replying to the lost prince email that pops out every other day in the junk folder. PURE. SCAM.
Vast majority of people in there are reposting their Instagram pictures or teasing you into selling other content, but since you have no way to tell what an OnlyFans profile has inside, you will be SCAMMED if you pay. I've sent this complaint to the site around one year ago, but they don't care because scammed people still are transactions.
The platform is slow as hell, and to avoid people downloading the content they've made sure you have a painful time using their site. Don't dare browse old content, because if you click on something you'll have to wait some good 15 minutes getting back.
Content creators can offer free subscriptions and then threaten you into paying, which is illegal but then again they don't care as illegal payments are still transactions.
Awful experience.

I'm with many others who find the site irritatingly glitchy. It's sheer laziness in coding. Or it's intentional. And the following is an infuriating response from them:
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please clear your browser's cache and cookies and log back in again. Our website does not support browser extensions, plugins, and add-ons that might interfere with users' content. Please make sure you do not have any of these plugins installed in your web browser, log out from the website, and re-launch. Please make sure you do not use a VPN service or Proxy while accessing OnlyFans.com."
They don't seem to get that the consumer shouldn't have to jump through their hoops to use the site. And exactly WHY shouldn't I be able to use a VPN or Proxy? What are they up to, exactly?
Let's face it, it is almost universally true that services around sex work and pornography are going to be a little sleezy and shady and user unfriendly.
Also, one might want to contact the Better Business Bureau about problems with billing. OnlyFans has zero interest in holding "creators" accountable or making sure they provide an accurate representation of their content before one subscribes. It is the rule rather than the exception that a potential subscriber is given a fair preview of what to expect before subscribing. The only solution is for OnlyFans to be more honest. Which doesn't seem very likely.

Below was my original post where I got scammed out of $1,300 in little less than an hour while I wasn't even logged in. However, OnlyFans reps got back to me the next day and within 4 days the issue was investigated, resolved, and the money back in my account. Thank you for their on-point customer service navigating and resolving the issue with haste.

Do not join!!! I had an account and dabbled with $10 here $5 there subscriptions, then canceled them all for only free accounts. Then one night, my fraud center calls because over $1,300 was charged to my account! I was never even logged in that week at all and apperently subscribed to someone's account and then I tipped them over $1250!!! Outrageous, get off now! Don't let this happen to you. I wish they would just call me already! Left messages and help desk tickets

Unable to confirm my subscription! When it asks to type in the debited refund amount, in the little window, it wouldn't let me. I check my bank and of course you took my money anyway! So why can't I subscribe to other users? Where is my recipe/confirmation to show my payment went through? You're making it way too difficult to deal with, when all other methods only take 2 steps. Something is very wrong on your end!

They blocked my account as they say I requested a chargeback which I never did.
I've purchased alot of content and they not willing to discuss refunds, just gives an automated response

fraudsters use this merchant soo often, you techniquely stole 500 of transactions from my card allowed them through, get 3d secure or enjoy a lawsuit to bring your entire trading to a halt.

The support is just useless. When you open a ticket, it takes them days to reply with a copy/paste message including zero information. They're not interested a bit in helping their users with (technical) issues of the site.
I heard about so many creators who:
• had their money stolen by onlyfans as they deleted their account without prior warning
• lost big money due to unjustified refunds/chargebacks
I made good money on frisk.chat, which is a safe, british alternative to onlyfans.
Frisk.chat cares about security & their creators/customers. Never had any trouble with them and never heard about anyone having their money stolen.
Would totally recommend them instead of those onlyfans frauds

Awful website. Got hacked (as everyone else seems to) and had 100 charges to some random account. Got my refund but that forced me to get an entirely new credit card for security reasons. On top of that my account was deleted so I lost all the previous content I had paid for. Gave up on it and just went back to give it a second shot (can't even use the same email so had to use my google account) and it's such a pain to try to verify your account and find creators. You'd think such a big platform would have some idea of how to run a website. The combination of clunky verification and awful security is appalling.

Not sure who runs this company, but both myself and my son have had fraudulent charges on our credit cards in recent weeks. Pretty sure it's a local skimmer, but shame on the site for not having better security features to stop these fraudulent charges. Shouldn't there be an address/security code verification to run a charge? If they don't protect non-users from fraudulent charges, I can only imagine the amount of "security and protection" they provide their users. The site should be shut down.

I’ve added my ID multiple times, it’s a brand new ID 2 days old, I’ve linked my Twitter and Instagram. Added profile pic with me in it, confirmed my phone number ect, and it’s just being rejected? I’m doing everything right I’m unsure what’s happening! Can someone help? :(
